Cooperation with the All-Russian Swimming Federation
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Please be advised that the All-Russian Swimming Federation (RSF) in cooperation with the Russian Association for Sport and Leisure Facilities (RASF) has developed a plan of actions aimed at upgrading swimming pools in the Russian Federation. In view of this RSF and RASF signed a cooperation agreement, under which RASF acts as RSF official consultant on swimming pools technical regulation. Under this agreement RASF together with RSF offers the following services to all interested companies:
- development of design briefs for swimming pools in compliance with the Russian town-planning requirements, FINA и LEN standards and procedures and considering the latest innovations in the sports industry;
- expert review of design briefs and design documentation for swimming pools for their compliance with the above indicated requirements;
- development of standards and carrying out voluntary certification of swimming pools;
- development of the swimming pool design documentation section “Technology” that includes architectural and lay-out solutions, technical requirements for swimming pool premises, main constituent flows planning, selection of sports equipment and gear, and development of accessible solutions;
- selection of materials related to advanced technologies applied in swimming pools, in particular, renovation technique of old swimming bowls, swimming pool equipment, chemical water treatment systems, ventilation and conditioning systems, and also best practices in swimming pool management (Appendix 1);
- arrangement of tours to advanced swimming centers;
- arrangement of professional development trainings for sports facilities management and personnel.
